Cherokee Golf & Country Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Cedartown, Georgia.

Cherokee Golf Course first opened for play in 1968. The course was designed by Norman Summers.

This hilly course features tree-lined fairways, so any errant shot will more than likely leave you with a real interesting lie. The slightly-sloped greens are somewhat fast.  Water hazards (five ponds) come into play on six holes.  

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,719 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5287 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 16, a par-5 that plays to 558 yards. This is also the signature hole is, requiring an approach shot to a well-bunkered, peninsula green. The shortest hole on the course is # 11, a par-3 that plays to 162 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 3, a 451 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 18, a 542 yard par-5.
